RECCE

For preparation for my magazine i went around my school taking pictures of potential backgrounds that i could use for my magazine cover, I tried many different settings that i thought would be a good place to take my picture, most were very natural settings.

This is a very natural scene, it is not something you would usually associate with rock, however because this background is so different it will make the models who will represent the rock genre stand out and in a way make them seem 'Loud' which is  very important aspect of the rock genre, and not to mention the focus group in my questionnaire said that they think of rock as being 'loud'

This Background is what i could instantly see as a rock magazine background because it is grungy and dirty which is the aspects that i would associate with my genre. 

This is a very simple picture as it is just white boards, however with the right editing i think that it would work very well as most magazines that i have seen, seem to stick with plain and simple backgrounds, this way the main focus will be on the model who is representing the genre.
